Everybody went home very happy, but I think very sad that they had to leave and it couldn't go longer. And to leave the many, many new friends that they made, and for some people a reunion with old friends from past conferences and meetings brought about through the hour of the time. The ranch was right out of the Old West and I have to say that surpassed anyone's expectations. The food was fantastic. Everybody or most people went horseback riding at least once, some several times. There was a lot of hiking and fantastic campsites and we videotaped everything. So there will be one short video sort of highlighting for those that can't afford to buy the whole set. And there will be a whole set offered over the entire conference. I have no idea what the prices are or when they'll be ready. There's some editing that has to be done. But it was just amazing. And some of the speakers just wowed the crowd. I mean, just bowled them over. And Ron Howell was one of the pleasant surprises. I knew his presentation was going to be good, but his was one of the highlights of the whole conference. Another very popular day was last Wednesday with Michael Cottingham. The herb walk, which everybody went on. And then the rest of the day, learning about the plants and how to prepare the teas and unguents and lotions and medicinal poultices. And how to use them for nutrition. How to identify them and the whole works. I mean, this is the first time that Michael's really got to strut his stuff all the way up the line and really do a good job. And everyone loved it. Just absolutely loved it. And it's amazing what he taught and how easy it is to take care of yourself, your family's nutrition, first aid, medicines, and all kinds of things with what you normally think of as weeds that grow in your front yard or your backyard or just out by the side of the road wherever you drive. It was incredible. Gee, Rich Martin gave a fantastic talk on what he and some of his fellow citizens are doing back in his hometown to combat the attack of the socialist people who are always trying to do away with something. And, of course, Rich and his friends are winning simply because they redefined the argument. And you're going to find out if you purchase these videotapes that there's an awful lot of things that you can do that you never dreamed you were capable of doing. All brought out by people who was at this conference. And many of the things were brought out by people who didn't speak at all. As usual, we got up early every morning and had breakfast. And at this conference, breakfast was furnished along with lunch and dinner. Lunch and supper, I should say. Lunch is dinner. And what some people call dinner later in the evening is really supper. But we furnished breakfast, lunch, and supper. And some people camped out. Some people stayed in the bunkhouses. Everybody was happy whether they camped or stayed in the bunkhouse. The campsites were just lovely, beautiful, surrounded by forests. And just one morning at about 5.30 in the morning, a whole herd of elk came right through the middle of the ranch and through some of the campsites. And some people who had never seen elk in their life were just amazed at how huge these animals are and how close they were able to see them. And we had some wonderful people at the ranch who helped us and took care of us and babied us. And a couple of times when some of the help didn't show up, we helped them and babied them. And it was just a mutual effort to make everything work perfectly. And it was fantastic, folks. And every night around the fire pit, there would be some diehards who just couldn't let the subject drop of whatever was discussed that day. And they would set up until late at night or early in the morning, as the case might be, and come in bleary-eyed to start the day the next day. And as usual, at all of our conferences, some of these folk had to catch up with them. And on Thursday morning, at every one of our conferences, Thursday morning, those who had been staying up late every night or into the next morning, finally had to pay the piper. And it caught up to them, so they ended up sleeping late and came in late, which is okay. No one ever has to attend the lectures. The major goal at our conferences is that everybody is happy and has a good time and learns a lot or learns whatever they want to learn and is able to just feel that they've got their money's worth and that they can go home happy. And that's what everybody has done. The last night, Friday night, was the traditional night that everyone stays up all night or as many as possible. And, you know, because the next day everybody leaves. Saturday morning we had breakfast and then everybody left and there were some damp eyes and some tears and some obvious hesitancy to go home. And everyone expressed the sentiment that if the whole world could be like the group that met there and interact honestly and openly and on the behalf of good, like all of the people there, that it would be a much better world. And quite frankly, I think all of those people wish that there was a place where they could all go live together. Because they're all like-minded and good people. I'll tell you how honest all these people are and the people at the ranch. I left thousands and thousands of dollars of videotaping and camera equipment and studio, the whole radio studio out all the time with no guard, nobody watching it all day, all night, and anyone could have walked away with all of it. Nobody ever touched it. Nobody even thought about touching it. I don't think anybody even looked at it except some of the people who wanted to set up low-power FM stations did take their notebook up and copy down all that they saw in our portable studio, which is really an inexpensive way to go. Except for the microphone, which they probably could never get unless Ron Howell has another fit of good deed-doing toward his fellow man and manages to come up with some more. But I really don't think there are too many of them in the world to come up with, to tell you the truth. And, gee, I too had that sinking feeling in my chest, and I didn't want to leave those people. I didn't want to leave the ranch, to tell you the truth. It's just the perfect place. And everybody there, of course, are my friends and supporters, and some of them dear friends for many, many years. I mean, real dear friends. That it was difficult. Finally, I just had to jump in the truck and leave. There was no sense of drawing out the goodbyes, if you know what I mean. So, it was a week to be remembered for everyone, from the very first moment that we arrived until the very last second of departure and everything in between. I didn't make it all the way through the last night, folks. I've got to tell you, it's the first time. Every conference that we've had an all-nighter, I have been... At the first conference, there were three of us left when the sun came up over the horizon. And at the second conference, there were a few more. Of course, that turned out to be a slumber party almost. At the third conference, just about everybody made it through the night. And I don't really know how many people were left Saturday morning around the fire pit, but running the show and keeping up with everybody and being on my feet most of the time, which is really bad for me. I have big problems with my legs. And then staying up late a few nights, not as late as everybody else, but late, because people wanted to talk to me, and I had to oblige as the host. I guess I didn't really have to, but I felt obligated. And so I did, and I enjoyed it. And Friday night, I tried. Boy, I really tried. About 1.30, my eyes started lowering, and there was nothing I could do to keep them open. And so sometime between 1.30 and 2, I drifted off to bed, and Annie and the children had already gone a little bit before me. But I left a big crowd. I mean, a huge crowd was still around that campfire when I went tottering off to slumber land. And I understand, I don't know who they are or exactly how many there were, but I understand that a good portion of those made it through until dawn. Everybody who stayed in the bunkhouse was really happy. The beds were big and comfortable. There were ten people to each bunkhouse, four bunkhouses. And there was a woman's bunkhouse and a mixed bunkhouse and two men's bunkhouses. And the reason we had to have a mixed bunkhouse is because there were some cases of people who were physically handicapped and had to have the attention of their spouse almost on an all-the-time basis. So that's the reason for that. And it doesn't matter. They're all adults anyway. And everybody conducted themselves with highest morals and ethics and friendship and consideration for everyone else. It was just absolutely fantastic. Jeff DeVal, who owns the ranch, was just incredibly attentive to every single person there and hitched up the draft horses and took people in hay rides. He personally thought to it that the children had riding lessons. And he sat around the campfire with us and played his guitar and sang. And Jeff at one time was pretty big in the country and western music scene. And so that was a lot of fun. Not only that, he's a natural storyteller. Jeff had a lot of stories to tell. He kept us entertained and laughing. And at one point, one of our members, just before supper was served, decided to climb over the fence and go hiking in the forest out behind the barn on some property that really belongs to someone else. He should have stayed on the ranch because the ranch is huge. He could have hiked on the ranch and had a good time. But he got lost. He got lost in the forest and he was lost for six hours. Of course, he didn't tell anyone where he was going. So no one knew to look for him or that he was lost or anything. And he came stumbling back into the camp. Sometime after midnight, bedraggled, thirsty and hungry, and a little ragged around the edges. And sat down and told his story. And we all had a great laugh over that. Of course, very happy that he did make it back and that he was in good health and nothing happened to him. He said at one point he came face to face with a monster elk. He thought it was the biggest animal he'd ever seen in his life. And those of you who have never seen elk close up out of a zoo where they're healthy and wild and grow big, an elk can weigh in excess, one elk can weigh in excess of over 2,000 pounds. And just magnificent, majestic animals. And some of these old male elk that are really going above 2,000 pounds, maybe quite a bit, and have a rack of horns on their head that stands way up into the trees, will really, really make you stand back in awe. It's just incredible. Of course, there's deer and skunks and squirrels and everything that you can think of. Antelope up here. And just about everybody got to see just about everything there was. Dogs and cats and goats all over the place. And it was incredible. So I want to thank all of those at the Thunder Horse Ranch for all that they did to help us and make our stay there. This was one of the most marvelous experiences in my life, and I know in many other people's lives also. As vacations go, or as conferences and meetings and symposiums and things like that go, this was tops, over the top, in fact. It just beat everything that I've ever seen or attended or experienced in my life. And I heard that from most of the people there personally said that to me. And I want to thank everyone who attended and for the help in making it really great and for being such wonderful gentlemen and ladies and for helping out when helping out was required and for being able to let their hair down and just have a marvelous, wonderful time. And, of course, for their attention to the lectures and to the speakers. And I know that everybody, I saw the voluminous numbers of pages of notes that people were taking. I know that they'll be referring to them for quite a while. So, with that out of the way, I've got to tell you, we have a new survival pack. For those of you who are interested in helping yourself and helping the hour of the time, the World Wide Freedom Radio Network expand its programming and continue to bring you only the best of programming. That's worth quite a bit of money nowadays because the dimes that you think you have, that you think are dimes in your pocket, don't have any silver in them. They're the junk. So, I really don't know why they call these junk dimes, other than the fact that they have no numismatic or collector's value whatsoever. So, there's four one-tenth ounce gold eagles and one roll of junk dimes. And this offer is limited only to the first 100 callers. After that, it will no longer be available. It's a ridiculously low price, and that's why it's limited only to the first 100 callers. So, if you want to be in a miss, you'd better give it a call right now. 1-800-295-2432. It is 10 cents a minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, every year that you are a customer of this provider. So, folks, if you're interested in lowering your phone bill, your long-distance phone bill, call us between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pacific Time, also known as Mountain Standard Time, and talk to Connie. But if you have 10 cents a minute or more, we'd like you to switch to our carrier so that you'll be helping the hour of the time, the Worldwide Freedom Radio Network, to fund its programming. Remember, we don't make any money on any of this. We have never done it so far, I guarantee you. And all we want to do is be able to stay on the air and expand our programming. And to do that, it takes a lot of money. So if you can help us, we will appreciate it. And if you like the programming of the Worldwide Freedom Radio Network, if you like the hour of the time, if you want to see us expand and eventually reach the point where we're covering 24 hours a day, then you need to call Southwest International Trading at 1-800-295-2432. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. dangerous. On January the 7th, 1997, Glenda Duell was sentenced in front of her family and friends to surrender to the county sheriff, leaving her husband and two young children, and serve a six-month sentence in prison. She was also fined $68,000 and expected to spend the next five years on probation which provides, ladies and gentlemen, for periodic psychological testing at the whim of the probation department. Now, if that wasn't enough, upon her release, Kent Duell, her husband, was to begin his six-month sentence, pay another $68,000 in fines, and be placed on five years probation as well. Fortunately, this sentence was stayed pending the outcome of the appeal filed by the family. They must have committed murder, or robbed a bank, or child abuse, or something, right? They must be really terrible criminals. Isn't that correct? Well, you better think again, folks. The Duells were accused of violating an environmental law dealing with a leaky septic system. And all of those of you who live in the Round Valley and the White Mountain area who are my neighbors, you better pay attention to this because I know a few of you are guilty of this same thing. That's right. That's right. You better listen very carefully. The Duells were accused of violating an environmental law dealing with a leaky septic system. Kent and Glenda Duell were sentenced in Essex County, New York by Acting State Supreme Court Judge David F. Young, spelled J-U-N-G, on 164 counts, 102 of which were felony charges for intending to pollute the waters of the state of New York. Making some of you nervous? Well, it should. This is insane. As outrageous and unwarranted as these penalties are, it becomes even more absolutely ludicrous when you consider that the charges brought by the district attorney, whose name, by the way, is Ronald Briggs, could have resulted, could have resulted in maximum prison time totaling over 1,200 years and fines exceeding $30 million. All of this for a malfunctioning septic system designed and approved, that's right, you guessed it, folks, by the United States government in the form of HUD. During closing arguments at their trial, Attorney Conlon, the dual's attorney, was cautioned not to mention constitutional issues. Remember, I've told you many, many times that our justice system does not apply to constitutional issues anymore. The Constitution was thrown out, torn up, ripped apart, shredded, thrown in the trash can, burned, drowned, buried, dead, gone, long time ago. You don't believe it? Well, how could this happen if it's not true? The judge told them, don't mention the Constitution. Don't talk about rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Don't talk about the Constitution, period. Don't bring up any, don't even mention constitutional issues. After closing arguments, it was Judge Young's responsibility to instruct the jury on the specifics of the law pertaining to the case. There was just one problem. You see, the judge couldn't figure out what aspect of the law the duals had violated, so he asked the prosecutor for help, but the prosecutor couldn't understand the law either. So, anxious for an answer, the judge asked the duals attorney for help. But Attorney Canlan refused. Then, he added another bizarre twist to the case. The judge let the prosecutor place a call to the Department of the Court and Judge Young then instructed the jury. Can you believe this, ladies and gentlemen? You see, sooner or later this is going to happen to everybody listening to this broadcast in one form or another. You're going to find yourself in conflict with what these socialists call the law. And you're going to be destroyed in the process just like the duals were destroyed in this process. in front of the packed courtroom, which, by the way, was being televised, TV cameras in the courtroom, Judge Young outlined the couple's serious criminal behavior by stating that his, quote, decision to put them both in prison was to create a deterrent for their actions, end quote. What the judge failed to mention was that because of the state's action, the duals lost their property for non-payment of taxes, which was subsequently bought by the town, bought by the town for one dollar. And their neighbors stood by and watched this and did nothing. Did nothing. You see, if I was their neighbor, I would have bid two dollars and I would have given it back to them. In fact, I would have bid whatever it took to bid if I had it and I would have given it back to them. But no, not most people. Nope, not most people. They stood there, nobody bid, let the town purchase this property for one dollar. Everything they owned. Judge Young characterized the staggered sentences as humane and caring because it prevented the duals' two young children from being placed in foster homes. And at the conclusion of the sentencing, this judge forced the couple publicly to decide who would go to prison first. Glenda, in tears, in tears, literally begged that she go first so her husband could keep his job, their income and health insurance for at least another six months. Although sentenced for, quote, intending to pollute the waters of New York, end quote, there was absolutely no proof that raw sewage had spilled out of the system nor that any sewage had seeped into state waters. The prosecutor's expert witness who testified about the alleged environmental damage admitted he had never even visited the site. He had never even visited the site. You wonder why people in this country are just absolutely pissed off and ready to go to war? that they are. And you sit back and you say, oh, this couldn't happen to me. You better think twice, buddy, because sooner or later it's going to happen to you. On some other issue, in some other place, at some other time, but it's going to happen to you because that's the nature of socialism and communism and these Nazi jackbooted thugs. Frankly, my dear Scarlett, I don't give a damn whether you like it or not. It's true. Never visited the site. The whole system had been approved. designed and approved by a government agency for housing and urban development called HUD. Of course, there are many parts of the trial that are being challenged on appeal. According to their defense attorney, Ben Conlon, the duels were denied due process when they weren't allowed to see the bill of charges. We're not allowed to see the bill of charges. Can you imagine that in a court in this country? Nor were they allowed the right of discovery to examine the evidence against them. You see, folks, every day we get closer and closer to the old Soviet show trials. That's what they are. I have no doubt that Timothy McVeigh was involved in the destruction of the Alfred P. Muir Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. But I also know because I have every single day's transcript of everything that happened in the court during his pretrial hearings, during his trial, and during his sentencing and pre-sentence hearings. I have every word that was ever said. And Timothy McVeigh was not allowed to present a defense. Period. Everything that he wanted to present in his defense was not allowed by the judge. I have no qualms with his sentence. But I do have a qualm, ladies and gentlemen, with the fact that people in this country cannot defend themselves in a court of law and that they are judged guilty without ever having been found guilty in America. The land where you are innocent until proven guilty by a jury of your peers and where the law mandates that you be allowed to present a defense. That bothers me. That bothers me big time. It should also be noted that this case against the Duells had been dismissed on two previous occasions. Maynard Baker, Linda Duell's father, said, and I quote, At issue here is not whether a septic system malfunctioned, but whether small individual property owners like my son-in-law and daughter should face literally millions of dollars in fines and hundreds of years in jail for an alleged minor environmental infraction while municipalities and multinational corporations can discharge raw sewage into waters under legal agreements and consent orders and be applauded and be applauded and be applauded for being environmentally friendly. This is an outrage and every American citizen should protest this kind of violation of the rights guaranteed in both the state and U.S. constitutions. It is yet another example of how environmental law is terrorizing ordinary, honest, law-abiding citizens and destroying American families, said David Howard, president of the Land Rights Foundation in Gloversville, New York. This is happening all over the country, ladies and gentlemen. This is not an unusual situation here. By the way, this comes from the Golden Treasure Hunter Magazine, May, June, 1997, page 31, under the Issues column. Very good magazine, by the way. Whether or not you like treasure hunting, it covers all the land rights issues. And if you're a real American, you should be concerned about all of the land rights issues. You see, in the New World Order, these communist socialist puked, fakes, Nazi jackbooted thugs get total control. There will be no ownership of any private property anywhere. All of you have spent all the money that you've spent to have land and property and a house and a home to pass down to your children or grandchildren or as an investment or whatever the reason you bought it. They're going to take it away from you. They're going to tell you where you can live. And they'll probably let you lease something for like a set number of years. But you can't leave it to your children. It's sickening. It is sickening, ladies and gentlemen. You can't stand it sometimes. You see, what I read you over the air, what I give you over the air, what I impart you over the air, is just a small, minuscule, almost insignificant part of the overall picture of the tons of documentation and communications and newspaper clippings and federal registers and congressional records and laws and testimony and things that we get here on a daily basis. So much that Connie can never, ever hope to keep up with the filing requirement that's created by all of this. And I go through every bit of it. So sometimes you wonder why I'm upset or irritable or angry. It's because I see all these things that you don't see. I know what's going on. The things that you may never know are going on. And I couldn't even hope to impart even a reasonable number of these things to you on the air. And it bothers me. It bothers me a lot. And sometimes I just get discouraged like many of you get discouraged. But I keep plugging on because all I have to do is look at my two little daughters to know that, hey bud, you can't stop now. You can't, you just can't do it. You can't, you can't back off and let those two little girls walk into a future world of enslavement. I can't do it. I can't do it to my children and I can't do it to yours and so I won't. Or at least, I'll keep going. Whether it happens or not, let me put it another way. It won't be my fault. Let me put it that way. Because some of you people out there listening are guilty as hell. You never do anything except listen. That's another pet peeve of mine. Is that I just don't understand how you can do it. It's like you look around and you tell your wife you love her and you tell your children you love them and you tell your grandchildren you love them. But when it comes down to it, you really don't because you won't risk yourself or your property or your possessions to make sure that their life is free and that their future is going to be good. To me, that means you don't love them. You're lying to these people. They're trusting you. They're trusting you. How can you do that? You know, I just don't understand that. I'm sorry folks, but I don't understand it. I've wrestled with it. I've thought about it. I've prayed over it. And I cannot deal with it. I can't understand it. I just cannot see how you can do these things. I don't, I don't, it does not compute in my mind. For those of you who missed the conference, Michelle Marie Moore was there on Tuesday and spoke for about 12 hours on all of the things that you've never heard about Oklahoma City, about the bombing, about the lies that the government has told, about the lies that the press has told, about the lies that some of the witnesses have told, about many of the witnesses who have mysteriously died since then, and the strange manner in which they have died, about where the trail is really leading, and to who really blew up the Alfred P. Muir Federal Building, and again, I'm going to say this, I believe Timothy McVeigh was involved, but to what extent, I don't know. You see, it appears from the evidence that he was a patsy, along with Terry Nichols, and that there were quite a few other people involved in bringing that building down. There are a couple of places where opinion is stated and it is clearly stated as opinion. All of it. is mind boggling. It will make you cry. Now, I'm one of the toughest characters you're ever going to meet in your life, folks. And it made me cry. I was involved in making this book happen. When I finally got the first three chapters, I sat down to read them in rough form, unedited. I cried like a baby. I'm not ashamed to admit it. And you will too. I don't care who you are. Those of you listening to 101.1 FM in eager did not get any network programming last week as we sent off for software to automate the station and before we sent off the money which was about $3,000 for the software and the card and the equipment to make this thing work. Ladies and gentlemen they assured us that they would help us make all of that stuff work and get it working and automate the station before we went off to the conference and after we ordered it and received it we called them for technical help. Didn't get any. So if any of you in the affiliate stations have been thinking about ordering Wave Station don't. Don't. You'll pay a ton of money and they will give you absolutely no technical support. I told them before we purchased it that we didn't know anything about this kind of stuff and that we would need extensive help and they promised us that they would do anything bend over backwards and that they would be there for us 24 hours a day to get it online. We called and just asked a couple of simple questions and that was the end of that. You know what he told me? He said broadcast engineers are $200 an hour. We'll be happy to get one for you if you want. So much for Wave Station folks. Don't buy it. If you have an affiliate low power FM broadcast station do not touch Wave Station with a 10 foot pole. Based upon my experience you will end up eating about $3,000. So here's the programming now for the work. I will eventually get it to work because that's the kind of person I am. But I'll have to do it by myself. Worldwide Freedom Radio Network programming all times are Eastern Daylight Time. All times are Eastern Daylight Time. Monday through Friday. 6 to 7 p.m. The hour of the time with yours truly, William Cooper. Monday through Friday. 7 to 11 p.m. All oldies and special programming. Monday through Friday. 11 to 12 p.m. will be a rerun of that same day as the hour of the time. Remember all times are Eastern Daylight Time. Monday and Tuesday 9 to 10 p.m. Quest for Health with Michael Cottingham. And all of you who normally listen to Quest for Health did not hear it last week. We were going to air it from the conference and Michael did not get his tapes off to us in time even though he was at the conference as a speaker. He didn't get there until sometime late Tuesday and he had sent the tapes that last Friday I believe in the mail and they just didn't get here. And he's had this problem before and we've been trying to make him understand that normal mail does not apply here. You have to send things much earlier because it's a rural area and he's in a rural area which doubles the problem. So he's promised that he will do that. So tonight and tomorrow night you will hear Quest for Health back to back the ones that should have aired last Monday and Tuesday and the ones that are scheduled to air tonight and tomorrow night. Of course the normally scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night will be aired first followed by the ones you did not hear last week. So make sure that your local affiliate station knows that so that you can hear it. Those of you on satellite make sure that you do not turn off your satellite after the first hour of Quest for Health because there will be another hour following.
