I don’t have a major beef with Tariffs, per se, at this time. The reason is simple. It was enumerated in our nonce documents. Nonce, if you didn’t know, means originating in this context. Actually the US Const. is not our nonce document, as many claim it is the Magna Carta which is closer to this our vanishing point called nonce. This would place the Declaration of Independence as part and parcel to our bundle, would it not?
Now then, from an economics standpoint, it just makes sense. By encouraging domestic production, we have tranquility. Economic security. Serenity now. Pura vida.
