A moiré pattern is a large-scale, often wavy, interference pattern created when two similar, regular patterns (like lines or grids) are overlaid, rotated, or slightly offset from one another. It is an optical illusion that magnifies the differences between the layers, commonly seen in textiles, screen printing, or digital photography.
