Did you know? Indoor air pollution is a leading cause of death in 3rd world countries. I learned that working at the CSU EECL back in the day. Nowadays they call it the Energy Lab. My homies in the cookstoves lab used to test cookstoves and ventilation systems for their gig, those hippies usually attracted the most coworkers during break for some reason, wonder why that is? No it wasn’t to go outside, these were the square hippies. You know, tree huggers.
And even in modern homes, indoor air pollution can be a real problem.
I might have been experiencing this myself, I’m not sure yet as I need to test our air, but it’s sufficient enough of a health concern at this time to try to reduce the amount of heavy metals in the air.
Off hand, a simple solution is ionic air purifiers. These are expensive, but they don’t have to be. I found some articles, let’s get this assembly party started.

Oh and cars can have this problem too. The car draws in dirty air through the engine bay which is loaded with heavy metal or even pesticide or salt contaminates and the air cabin filter can become overburdened quickly with too many foreign objects.
While I’m sure there are some great traditional filters out there, had anyone tried ionic filters? It might not be too hard to rig our filter up to the heater motor blower (yes that’s really what it’s called). If I recall correctly, there are some leads which could be piggy backed off of which could provide our positive and negative wires for such a configuration. Problem solved.
Now let’s talk about baking soda. There’s two kinds of baking soda - pure, the good stuff with known benefits to counter carcinogens, heavy metal reduction, etc. and the kind that’s cut with… you guessed it… heavy metals. If your brand name starts with “Arm,” keep moving…
