Mercatox is Closing

You may have gotten the news that Mercatox is closing. Mercatox is the only centralized exchange, to date, which would list Charg (CHG) and other truly distributed coins. Now some might construe this as bad news for CHG, and I would conclude it most certainly is an affront on decentralized everything since Mercatox was in fact one of the few centralized exchanges to allow for truly distributed to co-exist with centralized. What else can we conclude?

Oil and water do not mix. Centralized, by its nature, would chop off the nose to spite the face. Centralized, in order to attempt to survive, must kill everything which threatens it. But centralized, to survive, must also cooperate with distributed or it’s over for them. This uneasy juxtaposition is evolving into its finality - fully distributed everything. ‘The Wal-mart Effect.’

It’s sort of like the old Mac vs. PC days - one used to have compatibility with the other, but not the other way around. But nowadays Windows is practically free and Linux is emerging as the true heavyweight in the era of the containerized OS. Nowadays we don’t even want your data centers, Bill and friends. Oh, you think bare metal wasn’t shared long since between these and other alphabet entities virtually or visa-vi virtual fabric? You thought it mattered who won the bid?

The smaller and more open source the script, the more distributed we become. Returning to our roots, centralized demised as vanquished by minimalist lines of code owned by everyone. Ouroboro’s Achilles always was being big and complicated. The bigger they are, the harder they…

Such as it is, this should come as no surprise that Mercatox is closing down. Centralized banking doesn’t want distributed tech to exist. And there’s an awful lot of fake-distributed to go around and obfuscate. Mercatox was the only centralized market to embrace distributed, this made it a target of centralized banking. It’s a small wonder we lasted this long.

Centralized is making a poor decision here. There was a time when distributed could not survive without centralized, there is coming or is already the time when centralized cannot survive without cooperating with distributed. Pay attention.

We don’t need you anymore, centralized. We don’t want you anymore. If centralized doesn’t make concessions for truly distributed tech, it will go the way of the dodo. As in the days of Mac or PC, the players which emerge as dominant will accept and embrace both - centralized and distributed.

But really, distributed doesn’t need centralized anymore.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Proverbs 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

…AND WE’RE BACK! TRADE AWAY!

Big surprise here…? For the record, the fully distributed trade pairs are not recognized by CoinMarketCap. They have conveniently deleted us…

But wait, didn’t they have a fiduciary kind of responsibility not to cherry pick listings? How many millions or billions of dollars of liquidity and market cap are being censored? What is their namesake again?

Are firms like CMC and friends afraid of the truly distributed little guy?
